Entities_038–6E
Nickname: The Shale G4od
Danger Ranking: 6.E
First Reported: 1952-03-14 — Offshore seismic station, Pacific Northwest Trench

Summary:
Entities 038, designated The Shale G1od, is a subterranean, incomprehensibly massive entity embedded deep beneath the Cascadia Subduction Zone. It has never been directly observed in its entirety. All data comes from seismic disturbances, impossibly deep sonar echoes, corrupted dream-reports, and “shale intrusions” — moments when immense quantities of pressurized sedimentary stone erupt into impossible geometric forms across fault zones. The entity is assumed to be dormant… but this assumption is increasingly in doubt.

It is not an organism in the traditional sense. Rather, it behaves as an ancient will embedded in shifting layers of the Earth’s crust — slow-thinking, but aware. Those attuned to it describe a yawning pressure in their skulls, dreams of a cathedral made of bone and shale, and the sound of an ocean roaring beneath their skin.

It is not below us. It is below us.

Recommendation:
Do not disturb the stone. Do not speak its name beneath the earth. Do not dig. This entity is not contained. It is dormant. Every action near the deep crust is a question: Are you awake?

We may not want the answer.
